Finance and Costing Administrator

$60,000 - $70,000

My client is a successful Wellington owned business involved in the motor trade industry and has a great opportunity to join their small and well organised team.

The role is an interesting one; the three main areas of focus are diverse and will see you draw on your finance skills, analytical skills and ability to be able to handle complex information.

About 50% of the role will see you looking after their creditors, both weekly and monthly reconciliations as well as auditing and tracking costs to look at opportunities to reduce costs. You will also have responsibility for processing payments and work to the showroom floorplan. This task involves a complex arrangement of finance payments, interest due and contra arrangements. With a number of brands represented you will need to have a sharp memory, great attention to detail and the financial nous to deal with this varied information. Lastly this role will look after some General Ledger reconciliation, mainly in relation to outstanding incentives or warranties and the tracking of these.

As you can see this is no ordinary finance role and the right person for this role will have experience working in a varied and complex environment and have the aptitude to work within different parameters and keep a cool head while juggling this diverse workload.
