Legal Administrator – 3 month assignment

$28-$30 per hour + 8% holiday pay

My client is a membership organisation based in Central Wellington and are seeking a skilled Legal Administrator for an initial three-month period, while they assess their long term needs.

You will support specialist medical lawyers with administration tasks and enjoy a friendly and supportive work environment. Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Opening and closing legal files
  • Drafting letters and correspondence
  • Reporting on cases
  • Managing invoices on files
  • Booking meetings and making travel arrangements
  • Filing and document organisation
  • Assisting during court and tribunal proceedings
  • Preparing court documents
  • Assisting with the transfer of files and cases

We are looking for:

  • Experience in a legal environment
  • Great administration skills
  • A positive attitude and a willing nature
  • The ability to start work on the 22nd of July and commit to an initial 3 month period
