Project / Corporate Accountant

$100-110K pa pro-rata

My client is a forward thinking and dynamic regulatory authority within the health sector. Due to a shuffle in working arrangements a role has been created that is suited to a highly experienced candidate confident with providing project related financial management and organisational risk management and guidance. You will also, along with the Business and Planning Manager, provide accounting support to the finance and payroll team.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role are:

  • Combined responsibility for the day to day financial transactions
  • Checking of payroll
  • Reviewing business and emergency plans and providing feedback
  • Providing financial support and guidance to the project team
  • Being across organisational risk and providing recommendations on this
  • Keeping an up to date Health & Safety register

To be considered for this position you will need:

  • Proven background in managing the finance of projects and programmes
  • Demonstrated experience in risk identification and management
  • A solid understanding of Health & Safety
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Significant accounting experience, CA is advantageous
  • A motivated personality
