Our client operates a small niche consultancy firm in central Wellington. While our client’s business is primarily focussed on Leadership Coaching and Psychology services; he also offers photography services out of his studio office.
The main purpose of this role is to assist our client with preparation for a corporate leadership programme starting mid-2018. This includes writing the course workbook entailing 15 topics and a 2000-word article per topic. You will not be writing from scratch, but you will need to have proven content writing skills – we will be requesting examples of your previous work.
I am looking for a Post Graduate who has sound research and writing ability. You will also need to be both thoughtful and interested in turning big psychology themes and ideas into pithy practical prose. Along with this you will be hardworking, humble, have strong initiative and the ability to produce a high standard of work.
The great thing about this role is my client is happy for you to do the writing work either in his studio or remotely, from home or wherever you write at your best.
As our client works with highly confidential material, a high level of trust and confidentiality will also be expected.
The reading, writing and research element of this role is initially 15-20 hours a week and a further 3-5 hours a week assisting my client with the below administration needs in his studio;
- Managing end to end office functions
- Manage incoming client calls and customer service queries
- Calendar and email management
- Financial Administration
- Document creation and formatting
- Setting up and managing filing systems and client lists
- Responding to email and web queries
- Database management
- Research assistance
- Personal errands where required
