Administrator – not for profit

Work for an organisation that has a community focus. The team are genuinely lovely, close-knit and the opportunity has arisen for a skilled Administrator to join this unique environment.

This role is busy and varied, and it is pivotal to ensuring the smooth running of their services. You will act as a key liaison and first point of contact for a number of internal staff, stakeholders and external partners. Being process driven and flexible is important in this environment.

You will need to have proven experience and ability to:

  • Provide a warm welcome to all visitors and work within their front-facing hub, alongside other key staff
  • Work collaboratively with internal staff to ensure the smooth running of their critical service
  • Provide administration support across a wide range of responsibilities
  • Draft correspondence, such as letters and referral responses
  • Maintain notes within the information management system
  • Ensure both electronic and paper records are accurate
  • Liaise with external agencies and specialist staff
  • Prepare weekly reports
  • Order office supplies as required
  • Work with the property team regarding any maintenance issues
  • Maintain a range of processes and assist to make improvements
  • Assist to train new staff as required
  • Provide back up support to your team members as needed

  • Is able to remain calm under pressure and can settle others in pressured situations
  • Offers high attention to detail
  • Brings well-developed administrative and organisational skills
  • Has an understanding of critical requirements and is able prioritise workload and achieve goals
  • Is able to build positive and effective relationships
