About the Role | Ko te turanga mahi:

We are seeking a contract Remediation Tester with technical expertise in payroll and the Holidays Act. This role is vital for the Holidays Act Programme, focusing on rectifying breaches, ensuring compliance, and remediating arrears for employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing breach descriptions and proposed solutions.
  • Evaluating remediation partner designs and calculation models to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Producing test artefacts and reports, managing test conditions, and identifying variances and quality issues.
  • Collaborating with the Test Lead, Data Analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver effective remediation testing solutions.
  • Providing specialist support on data quality and cleansing for accurate remediation payment calculations.

About You | Ko wai koe:

To excel in this role, you will have:

  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years in payroll roles or previous experience in a Holidays Act Remediation workstream, including calculation validation.
  • Technical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand diverse application architectures and develop comprehensive test strategies.
  • Sector Knowledge: In-depth understanding of payroll and HR systems.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to convey technical ideas in user-friendly language.
  • Soft Skills: Strong organisational, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and a collaborative approach.
