Sales Consultant – Insurance

$50-55k Base + Quarterly Incentives

Due to considerable growth, this well reputed Fortune 500 global insurance company is looking to expand their phone-based sales team right here in Wellington. This opportunity will suit someone who has the natural ability to connect with customers and provide great outcomes to ensure customers have the right protection in place for themselves and their family

Due to the nature of the work, this company is looking to assist new employees in the development of their skill set & knowledge. If you are looking to enhance your career within the Life insurance industry, my client has the tools and ability to help you with this including the chance to gain your Level 5 Certificate in Financial Services.

About the role:

  • Proactively conduct inbound & outbound calls
  • Provide an in-depth understanding of products and services to outline features and benefits to customers
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service to gain qualified end sales
  • KPI’s focused on quality conversations and achievement
  • Work both autonomously and as a team to ensure customers are always put first
  • Contribute to your own personal development plans with support from managers

About you:

  • A natural ability to connect with customers whilst understanding their needs
  • Excellent communication with the capability to listen for trigger sales points
  • Thrives off the challenge of meeting set targets and KPI’s to achieve meaningful results
  • Willingness & motivation to grow & develop your own career
  • Proven experience within a sales driven environment will work to your advantage
  • Exposure to customer service-based roles with ability to demonstrate composure & professionalism under difficult scenarios

About the offer:

  • Salary of $50,000 – $55,000 + quarterly incentives
  • Employer KS Contribution of 4% + Health Insurance cover
  • Opportunity to gain industry qualifications and career development
  • Option to work from home for up to two days per week once established
  • Set shifts between 10am – 8pm, Monday to Friday, either 12pm to 8pm OR 10am to 6pm
