My client is an organisation involved in social services and makes a real contribution to New Zealand. This is a six month fixed term role and will work closely alongside a Payroll team to administer, support and process the fortnightly payroll function across approximately 1100 staff.
The preferred candidate will bring several years’ payroll experience ideally for a larger organisation. Holding experience in DataPay and MYOB IMS payroll will be highly desirable. Otherwise experience across a similar system is beneficial.
Whilst this role is temporary it may lead to permanent employment as this role is to cover a period of transition whilst the current employee serves notice.
Your day to day responsibilities will include:
- Updating employee details in HRIS and payroll system
- Check and amend payroll reports
- Identify and analyse anomalies
- Answer payroll queries
- Provide reporting
- Liaise with an external payroll system provider
- Preparing of fortnightly pay cycle
- Assist with general HR duties
