Our client is the statutory agency who operates the registration process, regulates, and assesses the competence of their skilled and technical professionals.
The role is permanent part-time, 30 hrs per week.
We are looking for someone to join this small collaborative team. They pride themselves on “working as one team” and want someone to contribute to their professional and welcoming culture.
Your primary role will see you managing the complaints, disciplinary process, and protection of title procedures, as well as working closely with the Chief Executive, Board, Arbitrator and Lawyer. While developing new policies and procedures relating to the organisations statutory functions.
Your role will include a diverse workload and will include duties such as:
- Field, triage and respond to public enquiries and complaints
- Manage and administer complaints and discipline procedures end-to-end
- Amend and develop policies and procedures
- Assist the Board with reviews of its operational practices and work closely with the Chief Executive on organisational projects
Ideal skills and experience required for the role are:
- Experience in a disciplinary, complaints, or investigative environment
- Familiarity with interpreting Acts and Rules, and relevant policies and procedures
- Sound commercial and business understanding
- Strong verbal communication and relationship skills
- Outcome-focused problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management practices and deadline driven
- A legal or other relevant tertiary qualification
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in an investigative, complaint handling or dispute resolution environment
