About the role:

• Provide accurate and timely legal advice to internal staff members
• Undertake legal research and be the SME for relevant legislation, regulations and codes
• Conduct & manage litigation requirements for cases heading to court
• Work with General Counsel to identify, address and reduce legal risks
• Provide assistance & mentoring to direct legal team when needed

About you:

• LLB – with Current Practising Certificate
• 5+years PQE
• Experience with managing litigation
• Extensive understanding of regulatory regimes and machinery of government will work to your advantage
• Strong knowledge of the principles of property and public law
• Excellent communication and a collaborative working style
