Snr Solicitor Litigation (Permanent and Fixed-Term, June 2025)
Provide legal advice, legislation and advocacy services on the range of operational and corporate issues. This role will help Managers identify legal risk and put in place strategies to manage this risk, escalating significant business risk and identifying legal issues of importance.
Solicitor
Provide sound legal advice, representation, and advocacy defined in the Legal Services Quality Assurance Framework. This work includes legal advice that is timely, accurate and consistently fit for purpose. You will also manage a caseload expected of a solicitor while ensuring work is consistent with legal standards and guidance. Other requirements include litigation and representing the Chief Executive in the Family Court and alternative dispute forums, this may also include working with more senior counsel on complex and/or high-profile matters.
Intermediate Solicitor
Provide high quality legal advice, support and solutions representation, and advocacy.
This includes timely, accurate legal advice that is consistently fit for purpose for your audience.
You will manage a caseload expected of a solicitor while actively growing network connections across government.
Your exceptional communication skills, empathy and focus on whānau will be critical to your success in these roles. A passionate and resilient manner is essential as you advocate for the best interests of children. You will approach each interaction with strength and respect, fostering positive relationships while working collaboratively to achieve the best possible outcomes for children. Your commitment to their wellbeing will drive meaningful change and create a lasting impact.
